DEKKER TIMBER HISTORY

Dekker Timber started in 1885 as a local timber trading company. Since then the family owned the company which has grown to be one of the most progressive Timber Companies in the Netherlands and Europe, specialised in the import, export and processing of timber and timber products.

The growth of the company has been based on the continuous extension of production capacity and on the improvement of technique and knowledge.

On an annual basis new production machines are purchased for more progressive plane lines, equipment in order to optimise the working environment and realising multipurpose company buildings.

Because of this continuous re-investment process all production facilities are updated to the most recent technical standards at all times.

In spite of the high grade of automation, flexibility and supply reliability always prevail.

Young people are being trained continuously to contribute to the to the increase of our scope of supply, our turnover and of course to quality and service.
