graining.
Fissure:
Surface has a tendency to light fissure.
Warping:
Provided the wood was dried properly, it does
not have much tendency to warp.

Large, intergrown knots may occur.
Bio-substances:
Gritty bio-substances.
Mould and insects:
High resistance to mould and
insects. Even resistant to Neoteredo (ship worm).
Durability grade:
4 - low durability
Gluing:
Reasonable to good.
Machining:
Very good machining with hard-metal cutting
tools. The gritty bio-substance has a blunting effect on the cutting tools.
