Undulating, straight-grained and cross-grained may occur

Variable 

Warping:
Only after accelerated drying or wood with a high reaction wood content.
  Knots:
In principle not allowed under Dekker Hout's quality standard.

Mould and insects:
Sapwood is sensitive to termite invasion  

Durability grade:
3 - medium durability

Gluing:
Good. Not good for front wall panelling.

Machining:
Easy to machine. Tools must be very sharp in order to ensure a properly smooth finish.
